I love Kovacic. Especially his running with the ball. But he makes stupid decisions sometimes. Same as Gundogan, Bernardo, Gvardiol, KDB, Foden, Haaland, Nunes, Akanji, Stones, Ederson, ....

This guy gets a lot of shite on here but for my money he’s solid in defence, has covered for some massive absences this season and has delivered goals when they count. Long live Kova.

Rodri-like performance in that we needed somebody to step up and he decided to be the man to do it when the players infront of him weren't doing it. Been our entire midfield all season.

Said this plenty of times before but we haven't just lost Rodri in midfield, we've lost kovacic too as he cannot play his natural 8 position and there's nobody like him in the side either. We bring in a proper 6, we get a 2 for 1 as we get kovacic the 8 back too.

I think he and Bernie should stay, to help with experience for the next generation to come.

They still have legs and can play well deep in the middle.

Add in someone like Ederson, Wharton and Rodri fit, then the midfield should be good to go next season.

They are about 4 years younger than KdB and Gundogan, whom should probably go in the summer.

I think this is a wise comment. Doogie Luiz gets my vote

Just don't like how he plays for us, doesn't fit the style or role required. That said, his goal was a very important moment and he is all we've got at the moment.

His dribbling is the best part of his game but I'd trade that in for recognising danger and better passing if we could.

He was one of 3 I called out for their passing at half time with Akanji and Nunes. The stats won't show it but whenever those 3 pass the ball, it's ridiculous how often the intended target has to check their run or go back and fetch it.

He's doing his best and working his arse off for the team. He can't be blamed for the fact players ahead and behind him aren't performing. A wonderful goal. Some of his passing still frustrates me as it's often a little bit behind the player and not as crisp as it could be, but he's been one of our best players this season.
