Brilliant performance yet again. His only issue seems to be staying fit. Needs to play more

Thought he did a good job today. His technique obviously looks inferior against Rodri (whose wouldn't) but he secured the midfield and made some pretty good forward runs.

Kovacic played really well today but Pep seems to play others instead if him, even after his good performances.

Depends on the opponents and who is available but the midfield should be rodri and kovacic as a 2 man base and then one infront behind haaland and 2 wide men.

You don’t play for inter Milan Chelsea Real Madrid and Man City if you’re not a very very good footballer . Makes the team perform a lot better when he is in midfield and he can control the tempo aswell . Best summer signing by a country mile

My MOTM today. Totally outstanding.

Got to play him more in the run in. He makes our strongest XI at the moment. Him and Rodri in midfield completely prevent people cutting through us which against the strongest teams will be crucial.

So much more solid when we play a MF line up with...

Foden, KDB, Bernardo

Rodri
Foden, KDB, Alvarez, Bernardo

Rodri has far too much to cope with and gets isolated when he's the only central midfielder. 1 CM to 4 Attacking midfielders just makes us look unbalanced and vulnerable. We just haven't seen this a lot because of injuries.
