No surprise as soon as Kovacic came on we looked a lot more solid and controlled. He goes under the radar at City, but he is a very good player.

To be frank I didn't think we improved that much when he came on, the first 15 minutes of that second half was still poor and I thought the Haaland sub was the game changer, of course it wasn't his fault and he was excellent after that.

Been saying it for weeks, kovacic has to play. We're a structural mess without him. Glad pep took the unusual decision to make an early sub, could have cost us if he hadn't. Now he just needs to stop dropping him and we will be golden.
