Purchasing him at the price we paid was a no-brainer. However, he is hardly ripping up trees.
Honestly didnt mean it harshly. That pathetic shot at the end just sums him up for me, cant really play a through ball either, he's a player that justs keeps things ticking. That, even for me, who wasn't a fan of his signing, feels harsh.
Although I was certainly surprised when many had him in their predicted XI's for Arsenal when he was never playing big games for Chelsea. He's a good squad player.
The strange thing is that he looked significantly more comfortable and better in the opening weeks, when he was outstanding, yet since he missed those two games (West Ham and Forest) he doesn't seem to have reached the same level. It could be that he's still working his way back up to full fitness. Looked fagged at the whistle.Purchasing him at the price we paid was a no-brainer. However, he is hardly ripping up trees.
But slowHe's a very good ball carrier, not much else.
Four. None conceded possession, they just slowed progression.Another anonymous game. How many times did he pass but they were a couple of yards behind ir wide of where they should have been. Not impressive and wont be starting many based in games like this
'great' is definitely an overstatement but he wasn't 'bad' either. Just not a starter.Christ - had a great game today.
