At the moment, who would you say they have signed a better set of players for their team this season than City.

Im not really bothered about other teams mate. Im hoping nunes proves me wrong. Kovacic is the wrong side of 30 and has shown nothing to me that he will improve us.
As i said, doku and gvardiol will be fine but still very raw.

Stop gap, squad signing, he was always going to be that, his injury record makes that obvious.

The Paquetta betting charges messed up our plans badly sadly, with him in our squad we would have been considerably stronger.

Our signings in the summer were 6/10 at the mo.
Doku and gvardiol will be ok once the rawness has gone.
Nunes… who knows. Strange buy.
Kovacic is a puzzle because of his age.

Kovacic was a no brainer in terms of fee, wages and experience.

Low maintenance and used to a squad role at previous clubs, his early performances were excellent, then sadly his injury problems resurfaced.

If he can keep fit, a big if, he is a very useful player to have available.

KDB is the big one, will he come back into his previous level? If not I can see him leaving in the summer for a big Saudi pay day for player and club, to replace him will be very, very expensive.

Some here are way too quick to judge. Players take time to come good.

If the club followed some of our judgement, Rodri would be off after his first season and we will still be playing 38 years old Fernandinho as our DM.

When you consider we’ve bought Phillips, Nunes and Kovacic for central position some serious questions need to be asked about why so much money has been wasted on basic players who add no value to starting 11. It’s much worse when you consider we lost Lavia and have missed on many quality targets due to there additions. We’re normally on the ball, but these three have been terrible signings
