Still think it is a similar situation to Gundo and cannot be fuily relied upon and Kova will probably want to prolong his career. Was absolutely fine

TBF Kova was bought as a good squad option. He has been that and fitness issues aside, I expect him to continue being so next season. He was never brought in to be our go-to every week. When you consider our other squad padding purchases (Kalvin, Gonzales and the midfield version of Nunes) Kova has been the only decent ROI. Hes the only CM that actually looks to move us forward. IMO he has been missed this season, especially with Rodri being out.We can’t lose Bernardo and keep Kova. He’s just not good enough. Needs replacing ASAP

I think we need 2-3 top notch midfielders in the summer, next season could be problematic otherwise. We can’t lose Bernardo and keep Kova. He’s just not good enough. Needs replacing ASAP
I 100% agree with that. Unfortunately, it’s been happening all over the pitch for quite some time.I absolutely despised the signing and for me he's one of the guys who desperately need to be yarded this summer.
The minute you buy players as squad options you start to see a decline in the team. He's okay when on the ball but absolutely appalling off it. Positionally he has zero disciple and goes awol.
He should of took a yellow on the Everton player that walzted past him for the goal. We are so naive at times.
He’s contracted through 2027 already, at which point he would be 33 and Gvardiol will hopefully have extended. If he wishes to stay for 26-27, fine, but, for me, there can be no room for sentiment and the team must be allowed to evolve.Would offer him a one year extension. Clearly been happy to be a squad player his entire career and if it helps keep Josko settled, no brainer
Yeah agreed, I made the post thinking he was out of contract this summer. He’s contracted through 2027 already, at which point he would be 33 and Gvardiol will hopefully have extended.
