We're too lightweight (i.e. not good enough and limited) at the back and up-front. It's not a trade off between attack and defence, it's not an either / or proposition. Robinho was spot on when he said you build a team from the back. Our defence is mediocre, our attack almost non-existent, and our midfielders are stretched to breaking as the midfield area itself is compressed into our own half the longer games go on.
