Was this not the game after a 2-1 away Victory at the Hawthorns against WBA?
it was indeed
well remembered

we were sat near liam gallagher
daughter went over to speak to him, and he was superb with her and signed her programme

This was one of the best derby victories ever for me, probably the best.

It excorsised a lot of ghosts for the club as we had a shocking record against them for years.

The pubs round Maine Road were shut and they were even shut in Didsbury. The Four in Hand in West Didsbury was all we could find and what a party we had in there. There were even a handful of reds to rip the piss out of for hours.

"Gary Neville, Gary Neville, feed the Goat and he will score"
"We'll drink a drink a drink to Gary the king the king the king"

The place was bouncing. What a day/night

That was my son's first derby. Carried him through the turnstiles in the Kippax and sat him on my knee for the game - and he was nine at the time! I just wanted him to experience a derby at Maine Road before it was too late. I'll never forget the look on his face when the first goal went in, a mixture of joy at the goal and wonderment at the celebrations around him and shear volume of noise. Great day. We'll both be there again tomorrow, but he has his own seat now :)

I was in the north stand right next to the vermin
and when the Goat slotted home the third goal is the nearest to paradise i shall ever get

Well tomorrow its the same day as the 5-0 at theirs as i've just been reminded by a rag.

Officially the worst night of my life

Would love us to claim the 10th November for our own tomorrow...We want FIVE :-)
