Loved walking through the back streets and seein the top of the Kippax then guessing the ticket number.
Was a great ground will always be in me in a way even though I have had a season ticket at the Etihad for longer.
i am working round there now on Cowesby st and Roseberry. Renovating the houses. Walked up and it was very hard to imagine because I hadn't been back since we moved. Was placing everything.
Nice to see the new school is on Bluemoon way.

As for shit hle it's not as bad as people would like to think. The majority of the people are friendly.

Bee hive was boarded up again last week. We went in there for a while. All cramped around the pool table. Only had Harp for me yuck.
Moved up to the Sherwood. Quality pub.
I do miss it a little but glad with where we are now.

preferred Maine Rd before the Platt Lane and Kippax was rebuilt.A real old fashioned ground and was always a buzz going to the ground.Cheers Dad for the memories.

I have always wanted that Kippax Street sign. I already have this one, it would go well with it.

:( I got a bit emotional seeing that too. Just reminds me of standing holding my dad's hand looking up at the stadium thinking how massive it was, and how massive my dad was! Now i'm only about an inch shorter than him! We should never forget our roots.

Yeah, I really miss the obstacle course at the back of the Platt Lane stand. Climbing over the settees and carpets that had been dumped in the alleyways and avoiding the dog shit
Maine Road was a shit hole and we're well rid. As for this "legendary atmosphere" what a load of old bollocks

A loser post.

It's his opinion and he's very much entitled to it.
