I wouldn't say he was out of his depth which is positive and had Michael Oliver waited to play advantage he would have scored a goal. Still probably a bridge too far for him today.

I think this was the perfect game to find out where Rico is at and he was by far our most progressive midfielder. Didn't look out of his depth at all.

Most of all.. ZERO MISTAKES!

He may have just proven to Pep he can be trusted a lot more than our other high profile signings so I would not be surprised one bit if Rico is rewarded with more playtime and molded into what Pep needs him to be.

36 touches today. Only Alvarez and Haaland had less. Not involved enough, both offensively and defensively, in a midfield position. Average showing. In comparison, Nunes had 25 touches in 20 minutes. I don't think it was a game for him, not at this stage of his development.
Yes, he wasn't involved as much as he often is, but he didn't do much wrong with the touches he did have, others were far worse.

Where was he supposed to be playing today. It was something and nothing
To me he looked like he was playing the KdB role.

I thought he was great midweek, but pretty invisible Sunday and slow to get back at times too.
I don't think his remit was getting back quickly, he was there to push us forward, plenty of others were just as guilty.
He's 18, it was a big game, he wasn't his best, but he did nothing wrong either.
