82 | Rico Lewis - 2025/26

1. It wasnt 7 yards.

2. No he didn't. Just got beat for pacs. Once we lost control on the left and the 2 central defenders were in no mans land. One chasing the crosser and the other out of contention for attempting to keep an offside line. Rico had one job Run to the middle of the box to act as cover for the missing CBs....

That was exactly what he did. There were only 2 players who made it into the 18 on the cross Johnson and Rico.

So the idea that he didnt no where to go where the ball would hurt us is silly. No Matter where ge went the crosser would simply have crossed to where he wasn't . It is not as if he could be in 10 spots at the same time. There were bo defenders in the box the whole box was open.

Its just after the fact rationalizing. Pretending he could cover the whole box with no pressure on the crosser and zero other defenders in the box
You done any after the fact rationalising recently?

Deluded gobshite.

On top of everything he slid and missed a ball he still could have cut out. Rico is not near the level required to play RB for us. I've seen well more than enough. You like him there. I don't. We could go on all day.

Pep told Foden to slow down, he needs to do the same to Rico. It’s all well and good running about all the time but he needs to learn when to go and when to slow it down. Also not sure if I was being really critical when watching him, but his passing technique seemed to be off, every pass he made bobbled to our players making it harder for them to control, never noticed the same happening for our other players. Again maybe I was being hyper critical whilst I was watching him
