Now I'm not in the he's the answer to our problems camp. But it is annoying that he's not being given the slightest opportunity to prove us all wrong or right.
Pep is always bigging him up in the media. Just said we didn't need an Alvarez replacement because James(+ Phil and Bobb) could play there. Yet he continues to superglue him to the bench, when he's the only option of the 3 that's been consistently available so far this season.

Well it's total blind loyalty from Pep keeping on picking the same underperforming players week in week out when you have the likes of Mcatee and O'reilly chomping at the bit. They may not be the answer but they couldn't perform any worse than some of the established first team players this last couple of months.

Obviously during the current run of poor form this view from Pep certainly deserves to be under more scrutiny..

If your good enough, you're old enough. There's only 1 conclusion to draw; Pep thinks him - and the other academy lads - aren't good enough. If you can't get a look-in after this run of bad results, it's time you moved on for the good of your career.

That falls apart at the fact he picks Rico week in week out.

James is 22 ffs, same age as Doku and Gvardiol. Older than Rico, Bobb and Savinho.

Lamine Yamal wouldn't get a look in if he was coming through our academy?
