Very true but where do you play him ? Even with our injury problems (especially KDB) we still have attacking midfielders available. Does McAtee get the nod ahead of Gundo, Foden, Bernardo, Nunes or if he plays wide on the right is he ahead of Savinho, Bernardo or Foden.Watched Palmer in training too who didn't get minutes and is doing alright for himself at Chelsea. Lavia too eventually will do well when he gets going. Sometimes putting people on pitch is important than testing in trainings
I’d like to see him getting more time but I’m certain that Pep, who sees him every day in training, knows what he’s doing.
Btw, I still think Palmer would still be struggling to get game time if he’d stayed.
