I'm confused.

Okay this is farout, but if this was ever proved to be a government scheme, do you think Blair and co knew about it?

IF it was a government conspiracy then the USA would have kept it as quiet as possible, it's entirely possible Bush wouldn't have known about it, let alone Blair. Of course this is all conjecture as it clearly wasn't a conspiracy.

It really is quite interesting, no disrespect to those who lost loved ones.

Lets just say, for arguments sake, they could prove that it wasn't a plane that hit the Pentagon, or at least not the commercial plane. Why do they need to answer where the commercial plane, and passengers, went?

I don't find the issue of 'conspiracy' interesting, I find the need for many to dig for a conspiracy in every little thing that happens interesting though. It tells you a great deal about individuals and society as a whole when every event you can think of, JFK, the moon landings, Marilyn Monroe's death, 9/11 has got numerous conspiracy theories surrounding them. Sometimes what you see is exactly what you get.

how about switching to the "landing on the moon" conspiracy where no innocent lives were lost? - imo proves beyond a shadow of doubt that we are fed bullshit by governments and media alike, fucking tin-can lands on the moon and takes off again...pmsl.

Maybe there was a moon landing, maybe there wasn't. I wasn't alive to experience it at the time, and the only coverage is an extremely grainy camera of people bouncing about in spacesuits. It would be possible to fake it, as people couldn't see it happen with their own eyes, and the quality of recording devices was pretty poor. Whether it was faked however I'm not sure, I can see why they would fake it (space race with the USSR, communism etc) and by faking it no-one was hurt. Personally, although I accept the government does lie to the people, and would have no qualms about lying in this instance, I don't think they did. It''s been nearly 40 years since the 'moon landing' and the best conspiracy theorists can come up with is some unconvincing issues surrounding flag movement and shadows.

i just stick personally to the basics that even in 2009 we don't have the correct technology to land a spaceship on the moon and take off again yet 40 years ago when we didn't even have colour tellies or mobile phones we were able to manage it!
tin-can like apollo 11 would have smashed to smitherines if it had of attempted to land on the moon.

I mean, next to nothing of it remained after the crash but the engine that was found, wasn't an engine from the plane. The width and height of the impact didn't correlate with a plane of that size. And why would the secret services take away the CC TV footage of the plane impacting and then when it reappears it doesn't show anything?

I'm not taking sides and I am not a conspiracy theorist but the Pentagon plane crash is about the only part that has got me interested.

Isn't it more that we DO have the technology, but we don't have the willpower? Why go there? It's costs billions of dollars and there's nothing but rock? We can't gain anything worthwhile by returning. We can land robotic probes on Mars, I'd imagine given the time to design a 21st century lunar landing craft we could. The 20th century one wouldn't be allowed anywhere near space these days based on safety concerns.

This always makes me laugh. Back in 1969 we did not even have colour televisions, remote controls, mobile phones, we did not even have power steering on our cars. Yet they managed to get 2 blokes safely up there, doing a bit of a dance, all shown LIVE on TV and then back down to earth as heros. This is the USA trying to claim something before the Russians and promote themselves as a super power.

I think 9/11 was partly planned. If that makes me a moron then so be it. There is just too many flaws and situations which make you wonder.

Also the moon landing was 100% fake.

No, they haven't. However, they only need to prove one or the other, and you question was in the context of them having, hypothetically, proven that it wasn't the plane that hit the Pentagon.

Experts state they found wreckage of a plane at the site, the black box etc. I'd say that was proof enough.

Flight 93 managed to make calls so I don't see why Flight 77 wouldn't be able to. As for what you'd say knowing you were about to die, I wouldn't dream to presume I'd know what I'd say or do given such a scenario. All the above sounds like the kind of stuff conspiracist say, it's sounds good but there's not much proof attached.

I agree with you, I'm pretty sure it was terrorists that brought down the towers but when I saw the damage at the Pentagon I thought if a plane had hit it, why wasn't there a plane shaped dent in the front of it ? and how could a plane completely disappear ? - Very strange.

Whoever was responsible does not change the fact that the whole thing was a tragic loss of innocent life.

From the info I have seen, I do not think it was an inside job, however I think there's enough dodgeyness surrounding the whole aftermath etc, that I think it warrants a new, fairer, investigation. The 911 investigation was abit of a farce, as you would expect when a government investigates itself.

As I said, I do not think it was an inside job, from the info I have seen, but I am open minded enough to not discount government involvement(in anything) out of hand.

Wasn't it re-inforced concrete blocks or somethings and 50 odd got taken out? They showed that the plane disintrigated (sp?) at the 20th block or so. So how could a pile of rubble have took out another 30?

It's the Pentagon, there's probably some 'official secrets act' or whatever the American version is that means information is held rather than released. Plus, being the Pentagon, the amount of non-government surveilance of the area is likely to be minute so independant coverage isn't likely either. Lets face it though, even if they released footage depicting the crash and aftermath there would be some crackpot conspiracists discounting it and cming up with another ludicrous explanation.

And the pentagon has a lot of CCTC footage as its regarded as the safest building in the country yet only one camera was on?
