9/11 memories,where were you.

Just got back from one of my first days at secondary school, saw the second plane hit but didn't really take it in, went out and played footy with my mates for a couple of hours, it only really sank in a bit after I'd got back and I spent the rest of the evening glued to the telly.

just finished work in dubai and went to sleep after a long night,my brother had called to see if i was going training......as soon as i heard i was wide awake and went to the bar to catch up on events with work mates.

I was working shifts at the time and finished at 1.30 got home around 2 put Sky Sports News on and they said "a plane had hit the twin towers and turn to SKy News for more details", so i did and within minutes the 2nd plane hit and i was glued to the TV all night.....

I had Uncles/Aunties/friends/collegues who were still at work on the phone to me asking whats goin on. When the towers collapsed i couldnt move, all sorts of shit runs through your mind at that time.

We had only got back off holiday the day before. Bizarely the day we flew out England Beat Germany 5-1. Quite and eventful week and a half

I was having a lie in when the phone rang and it was my mum. I thought something was wrong back home as I had only spoken to her 2 days earlier. I told her I was still in bed and she told me to turn on the tv and as soon as I did, I seen the 2nd plane hit the South Tower. Two weeks before that, I was at Federal Plaza for my green card interview and I remember telling my husband in the taxi ride downtown, how lovely the twin towers looked that morning.

I was in a bar in turkey and i thought i was watching a film
then all the turks started going mad and a few were laughing.
We told them to fuck off inbred twats and left the bar.
