Kaz even the most ardent city fan can see all is not well atm . Now maybe I’m of the mark with him leaving as it would cost a fortune but he is not happy .
He is playing differently than he is used to, so are we, he has been here two mins , they are all adjusting , no need to make up some long winded story with him leaving , ridiculous

I agree Kaz, but I think it's reasonable for people to think that comments supposedly made by Alf Haaland about Erling spending two years or so at City, may be true.

Benzema will move on at some point, and Real will almost certainly already see Haaland as his replacement. He's the best there is and he fits their style like a glove. They'll break the bank for him if they want him.

Real Madrid is a dream move for any player. Always has been, always will be. If Alf and the agents see it going that way, they will already be working to that end.

I honestly can't see him staying long after the end of 23/24 season. We'd be daft to spend a fortune on a rebuild around Haaland for one season imo.

Let's see how things go next season first. All players need the benefit of the doubt in their first season here.

Erling is only 22, he needs time to get used to the league and us and he needs time to develop into a better all round footballer so he can play in a Pep side.
But also he's not getting regular, decent service his natural game desires and as we signed him, lets put the pieces around him to help him, which will also help us.

I truly believe that if/when he does leave he'll be the best striker in the World.

wouldnt surprise me if rashford pipped him to POTY unless he gets back to scoring regularly.
When did he stop scoring regularly ? Has he gone more than 2 games without scoring this season ? Has he even gone 2 full 90 minutes without a goal.

I keep saying this, but...

There's nothing wrong with Haaland. He doesn't need to be a better all-round footballer, he's a goal machine... The finished article.

The only Haaland related problem is the team's inability to provide him with the ammunition.

The team is full of quality players who, I believe, are perfect for the false 9 system, which would be more suited to Alvarez than Haaland.

I'm a big fan of Haaland as a striker, but it seems to me that we're trying to break up a perfectly good system to fit one player in. It's crazy.

Basically, I think that, having signed Alvarez, we didn't need to sign Haaland, who imo is more suited to the Real Madrid set up. If we wanted a 'more complete' / ready made footballing striker, we should have signed Harry Kane.

Yes. Quality player, don't mix me up for a doomsayer, just literally answering your question (s).

Levy wouldn’t pick up the phone otherwise he would’ve been here by all accounts and Haaland would now be in Madrid. IF Haalnd is staying more than two years we have to build the team around him and play a different style, will Pep do this? I guess our summer signings will show us, if we don’t get fast wingers a decent LB then I’m afraid he’s still playing the false 9 system and Haaland just can’t do that. I relay want Haaland to stay for 5-10 years destroy every record in the process and win multiple trophies.

We still have got the better prospect in Haaland. If Kane signed he would of missed half the season with our injury record
