Spot on. Take some risks City! We end up giving the ball away anyway after 30 passes. Having inverted wingers really doesnt help Haaland either.
 
The worst thing tonight was that he playing the big man up top really well, won 5 or 6 headers from long balls. Even then he was given absolutely nothing to work off.
 
We are literally playing to his weaknesses and NONE of his strengths. I thoroughly blame pep.
 
He was proper pissed off at full time tonight can’t blame him . Run his bollocks off all night and nobody in a city shirt passed to him . He has become a world class spare part !!!
 
Questions need to be asked on how a striker with 32 goals in mid February is still feeding off SCRAPS. Did Pep actually want to sign him? Or did the club say we can get Haaland for cheap it’s happening. It’s honestly bizarre. I’m not surprised he’s getting fucked off.
 
Thought he was going to be a game changer when we signed him but especially away from home his lack of involvement mean it’s like playing with 10 men. We either adapt, and we’ve had over half a season to do that, or try something different that doesn’t involve him, eg revert to false 9
