That was just naïve of him really but to be fair to the guy, he literally went on strike to try to force a move to us.

For about two days yeah.

If he had any ambitions of winning the Premier League, signing a contract extension with Spurs was a phenomenally stupid thing to do and I don't think any competent agent would have let it happen. Imagine Raiola or Mendes letting one of the best players in the world rot at Spurs for his whole career!
 
He is lethal at the moment. His quickness off the mark is incredible and the space and movement he creates is top notch and is being noticed a lot more by the team.

His first two goals were brilliant, a nice ball put through and he just so quick and a lovely little flick finish.
The play by Foden for his second and third was brilliant too, that cross and shot were superb and he was there to put them in with great finishes.

42 goals in the middle of march, is insane!

He makes them look so easy but I think other than Sergio I wouldn’t back any City player past or present to score all three. The second one especially, he just guides it back across, 50% of strikers lose composure there and just lash at it.
 
Can't help but wonder how good an England attack of Haaland, Kane, Rashford, Saka and Foden would be. If his Father had stayed in England for a few more years than he did once Erling was born I think that could have been a reality.
 
Just on the bus on the way home and just wanted to say, Erling is a bit fkin shit hot..!

Obviously he will not get the plaudits he fully deserves from our biased media and sycophantic press but he is without doubt a fkin grade A superstar..!
