His all round play is very underrated

Yeah he's not going to pick up the ball on the halfway line and beat 5 players (very few players can), but he's a very intelligent player and has some excellent assists this season that any player would be happy with.

He's a big lad, so he's probably not going to have the close control and ability to turn quickly with players snapping at him, like someone like Bernado can. But once Haaland has some space on the half turn, he picks out some very nice passes and intelligent play.

We know he's a ridiculous goalscorer, but you don't play for Dortmund and City unless you can play a bit too.

Not bad for a tap in merchant that doesnt do anything but finish off easy chances.

Big earl will have a field day next week. I suspect we will play like we did at the Emirates, sit deeper than usual, allow them more of the ball than usual look to control and contain first and foremost and then hit them quickly and directly with erlings pace when the opportunity presents itself.

I fancy him to bully both their centre backs and bag a couple next week.

There was some nonsensical talk recently suggesting we were a better side without Haaland. Against Bayern our second goal came from a cross wideout on the left by an overlapping player. Haaland, of course. This is the result of Pep encouraging him to take more part in the build up and not just make runs in the CF position. Give him a year or more under Pep and he will become a great. Better off without him? Pfft!

The guy is a machine and let's not forget he is 22 years old, what he could end up been is a very scary thought for defenders!

He can actually do this though, I’ve seen it vs Sevilla, when he was at Dortmund.

He was coming short and then running at their defence and it’s not Messi-esque close dribbling but more like a super speed version of Yaya, knocking the ball past people and bowling people over as they try in vain to stop him.

Seen a few videos of him whist at Dortmund where he has powered through defensive lines and scoring, so he definitely has it amongst his armoury.

Will probably find it harder in the PL as teams won't risk playing high lines against us , but that ability is there.
