He is now
Needs to prove he can do it over a sustained period like 10 years + Ronaldo and Messi had insane durability, they never got injured which helped them a lot.
He is now
To be fair, the novelty probably wore off months ago for a lot of non-Citeh fans. But we're biased, innit?Just having a laugh at this infamous one from countdown nerd man. It's as hilarious as it is terrible
Will the novelty of Erling Haaland scoring – again and again and again – wear off?
Assessments of the Manchester City striker’s first season in English football have been reduced to a counting exercisewww.theguardian.com
I mean come on this is hilarious:

I think Pep is reprogramming Erling, and him getting his first assist to de Bruyne is a tiny bit of evidence we might be starting to see the results of that.
I dont think we've made anywhere near as much as we can out of haaland this season (thinking back to games similar to spurs away where he made runs and we never played him in), and we will soon see improvement in his all round game. I don't think him improving other areas of his game will come at the expense of him scoring goals. I think what we're about to see is going to be mental (if it wasn't already)
It was one of his best performances for us by far from a pure footballing standpoint. His link up play, driving with the ball, the chances he created for himself and others. The Athletic is a full blown rag/dipper fanzine.
