My favourite bit of Erling’s record breaking goal is that he takes three separate looks up as he is running on the ball to decide what the best finish was for that moment, based on what the defenders and the keeper was doing.

And apparently Jack had said before the match that he wanted to be the man that assisted Erling’s 35th goal. And it was a perfect ball in stride on to the Viking Wynd’s left boot.

Brilliantly taken goal tonight by Haaland who is developing into a real team player. He has an excellent touch for a big lad and I loved that run in the second half when he waltzed round a couple of defenders in the box.

Something that I think a lot of people forget, is that once you become this dominant, especially this quickly, opposition players make it their personal mission in life to stop you from scoring. Entire team game plans become almost entirely focused on hindering you from being able to move, much less contribute to attack. You become a marked man; everything from making runs, playing layoffs, and even getting shots off, become that much more difficult.

The fact that he can go on scoring, even despite being the Football World’s Most Wanted, is exceptional and something he isn’t getting enough credit for.

With a nod to THAT classic Monty Python sketch, it has to be "The Norwegian Blue", doesn't it?

"Beautiful plumage!"

Nah, his moniker needs to reference his magnificent flatulence.

Can only imagine the PTSD Ogbonna is going to experience over the next few weeks.
