I thought he played really well yesterday, he caused them trouble all game and he was really unlucky with shot that Pope tipped onto the post. He had another chance in the second half too, which wasn't shown here, which he put over the bar and there were a few occasions when he made the run but didn't get the ball.
Overall it was his best game.

The lad is a beast, so strong and fast, when everyone gets on the same page he will cause havoc.

He is going to be a massive asset to you once you get used to playing with a proper centre forward again. I didn't know how well he would settle in to playing over here and he's proven his quality already. Learn to play with him and he'll make a massive difference to you and he'll be the difference to you winning games that you haven't won in the past. You would have beaten Real last season if you'd had him a year earlier and he was the player then that he is now, he is the player that your games was crying out for, a focal point who can be lethal.

Just had an opportunity to watch the match through, pausing it and watching it calmly.
That shot where he makes one yard of space for himself and smacks it against the foot of the post. That through ball from Kev where he shrugs off the player marking him, leaves him for dead for speed and only Pope's anticipation blocks him. If anything, what he did yesterday was more impressive than anything he did in the first two matches (and he was already good in those).
It's official: this man is a beast. If he avoids injury, he is going to tear the PL apart limb from limb.

Cheers. Was surprised by the sheer energy of the toon press. And I mean really, from everyone in black and white. It was making City very, very uncomfortable, all match long, until you understandably ran out of steam.

Centre backs must be terrified watching that clip of when he's denied by Pope coming off his line. He was a yard + behind them when the ball is played. They both turn following the path of the ball, thinking there must be no way Haaland can get anywhere near it. The fact he gets past them, let alone gets to the ball and gets the chance is frightening.
