He'll get a rest midweek but we do need to bring in another option upfront. I know KDB and Bobb are out but we haven't picked up the goals that Alvarez gave us.
Bobbs not that heavy a goalscorer either. would defo like someone in to give a different option

Gonna need resting midweek, for sure.

That finish today was exceptional. Falling to the ground with both feet in the air, and the only way he can score that is by striking it into the ground to allow the ground to do the rest; he couldn't have generated the power on the shot any other way. A natural predator.

Worth watching the goal all the way back to the throw in. He runs down to the corner to receive the throw and then shields us back into possession. He then slowly pads across the eighteen-yard line, all the time watching us move possession back and forth and he then manoeuvres himself into a position between two defenders. The defender nearest turns the wrong way, loses sight of the ball, and it’s then that Haaland pounces and strikes like it’s feeding time at the watering hole. Should have David Attenborough commentating.

Looks knackered. Did well for the goal but missed some strange chances. One would have been a good clearance up the other end.

Without him this season I think we would be lower than United.

Good goal

Missed a few too but it happens

Wouldn't be against resting him vs Spurs in the coca cola cup in the week. I know spurs are a decent side but I'd rather rest him and gamble on potentially going out of this competition.

Getting tired now and you can see it but he won’t be able to have a break as we have no cover and our mids are not scoring enough to rest him .

lets hope the plan works and he wont be injured at all this season as other aint picking up goals this season much.
would be real fucking worried if he is out for December with games like Liverpoool, rags, Villa, Juventus etc...

Yep often he has to play 80+ or 90 mins even in games he wouldnt have last season. mostly down to selling Alvarez, who either started deeper and could have moved into forward when Haaland came off or could have been brought on from bench to give us fresh energy upfront sometimes next to Haaland or instead of him.

Pep saying doesnt want a big squad, and players unhappy well we are down to like 14-15 players, and I bet we have some injuries next months too. even a cheap striker with an eye for a goal picking up some Carabao games and lesser CL games and 10-15 mins in PL would have made lot of sense.
