And when you do make a analysis or comment you get called a "Rag" or "dipper" the minute you make a criticism

Praise and criticism are both part of football and both can exist

Also because you are being "negative" doesn't also mean you don't support the team

I'll watch every game and support us to win but not gonna just smile and say oh well when this team of winners and millionaires get battered by teams inferior to us and who put in double the effort we are

Your choice.

Realistic praise and criticism I can agree with.

Over the top nonsense you can keep.

At no point did I say you were a happy clapper mate
My understanding of a happy clapper is someone who can see no wrong in anything city do ,and ,can see no wrong in any players ,
To me providing you praise when something good happens you are entitled to moan when something negative happens for balance .

I wasn't necessarily meaning me as I am not going to get upset about it.

It is the lack of balance from a number of posters which I disagree with, nothing more, nothing less.

It's unbelievable, looking back, just how good Aguero was. He was an absolute machine. The best City striker I have ever seen and it's not likely that I will ever change my mind again.

That said I don't think Haaland's all-round game is anywhere near as bad as people tend to believe. I think his passing and dribbling and positional play is pretty good to be honest. For me, his poor form at the moment is much more a symptom of our dysfunctional team.

At no point did Sergio ever remind me of Lee Bradbury …. Haaland has done on several occasions this season.

Where is that poll about who is the best player , sergio or thor ?

It will always be sergio , he would be making it happen right now , setting up his own goals if nobody is passing to him

Thor is young and has plenty of time to expand and mature his game

Ha ha do fuck off, the guy needs a supply he like the rest have just been unlucky sometimes, take the Spurs game they go in we are 3 up after 20 mins last season they’d have gone in. He’s 3 years in his contract I’d worry about an extension if by next summer we haven’t bolstered our squad to use him to the best if his ability.

They will never ever be the same player. No need to dig out Haaland.

Aguero literally famous for his power, low centre of gravity, bulldog like approach on and off the ball. Haaland a unit, target man, world class goalscorer.

The finest finisher in the game and we starve him of the ball.

FFS you could not make this shit up.

Play to his strengths, for a period Pep, just put your principles to the side, play ugly, play football that surprises the opposition.

Yes unfortunately, I remember his last minute equaliser at Millwall but also an absolute shocker at Sincil Bank, Lincoln when he barely touched the ball … both night games!
Oh the heady days of Frank Clarke's tenure. Such great recruitment as Lee bad buy and the original bald fraud, Barry Conlon. Happy days.:-) None of that worry about whether or not we were going to qualify for the Champions league knockout stage or if we were going to get into the top four of the Premier League. Life was much simpler then.:-).

When people moan about Erling, I’m reminded of a famous song about a favorite old striker…

“Feed the Goat and he will score”

Hmmm, if only I could fit the word Erling or Viking in there!

Maybe “Feed the Norse and he will score!”??

However, the most important part isn’t the name, it’s the word “FEED!”

Record goals, record production, 2 golden boots in the last (and his first) two seasons, yet we seem incapable of giving him the ball where he likes it or in any kind of decent position to score!

I was thinking more Phil Neal’s tenure … but my memory has kind of combined the Coppell, Hartford, Clarke & Neal helms into one big bad one …. which is harsh on Asa as I loved him as a player for us.

I think Erling should get Pep in a headlock, and not let go, until Pep lifts the total ban of balls over the top. We can then get a chance to see the Erling of old - super fast, strong and scoring goals.
Erling should repeat this until our players are allowed to find him from corners, look for him with first time crosses (heresy?), and for our players to LOOK UP and consider if Erling is available, every time they have the ball in and around the opposition box. This instead of blind crosses (rare as they are) and lame shots.

Pep says you can’t score without the ball. So why are we starving our own player?
