This stat is probably misleading. They’re counting the Club World Cup as part of this season, but it’s not. The goals he scored there are being added to the 2024/25 season.
This season, Haaland has 9 goals in the Premier League and 3 in the Champions League.

What’s actually accurate — and seriously impressive — is this:
After today’s game, Haaland’s scored 136 goals for the club. That’s after three full seasons and 9 games into his fourth.
For comparison, Aguero reached the same number of goals at the very end of his fifth season in sky blue, back in May 2016
 
He looks a leader this season. He seemed a little lost last season, disconnected. Now he’s one of the main men and a real part of the team.

Loved that goal today. Bullied his defender. Loved that the pass was played to him, finally!
 
Grown up with the kid and his new role in the team. Here for life hopefully.

Wonderfully gifted goalscorer who is always developing other parts to his game.

He is our, just like Dave, kdb and Sergio before him.

His goal was proper no 9. Loved it.
 
The other players need to step up now. Show the same intensity as Haaland and take some of the goal scoring responsibility. After Haaland, all of our next top scorers are on 1.

Yup. By far the best version of Haaland we’ve seen since he’s joined. All round game improved a lot. What I also like is the fact we’ve played abit scruffy and he’s getting those important goals. Too many games passed him by in recent seasons. So far not the case.

When Shearer set his record, the PL was a bit like the Bundesliga now: the 4th best league in Europe.

Now the league and the defences are much better.

On the other hand, Haaland is playing for a much better team than Shearer (but is facing a lot more low blocks...).

City fans keep saying we don't get the ball to him in the right way. Well we must have assisted in somewhat the right way because he has a hundred and plenty goals for us so far.
