9 | Erling Haaland - 2025/26

Sharp as fuck. Square headed the early header but the two snap shots he had second half were great saves. He took them so early but so cleanly. They were flying in.

Nico Gonzalez made a great run first half, ended up getting tackled and they looked to break, haaland put on a full sprint to get back into practically the right back spot whilst the team regrouped and chased it all the way back to their backline. He's a pure leader of this side already. If we learn to provide for him more he'll up his output considerably from the freakish levels he is currently at.

25 goals this season (most strikers in this sport would be happy with that come the end of the season!), and he’s missed a fucking bag full of absolute sitters.

Imagine when he actually gets into form and starts banging all these chances in, haha!

Looks sharp as fuck at the moment. Need to get the ball to him in transition more.
Agreed on this. Also, as ridiculous as his numbers are, I feel we could play a lot more ‘speculative’ balls to him. I say ‘speculative’ as this is what they’d be for most other players, but he’s on another level. We often ignore his runs and end up recycling and I reckon he would turn 50/50’s into 70/30’s.

It feels like we're in a race for the rest of the team to catch up to his level before this purple patch fades.

He's so good, but he can't keep up these numbers until May without better service and someone else scoring some goals to take the pressure/defences attention off him.

This wouldn't make any highlights reel, but that moment 2nd half when he was plonked onto the ground by their penalty spot - yet still nearly beat their goalkeeper to the ball, sums him up. The mental energy required to keep alert against somebody like that really takes its toll on defences, even if he's not playing particularly well.

Like a kid in a playground, such enthusiasm.

Yeah, got to find him once we win the ball back. Gave it to him twice in the 2nd half and both times he created a shooting opportunity out of nothing and got a decent shot off on goal.

At the moment, nobody looks like scoring but him, so we need to find him faster.

When the team was struggling, in the media it was all about not making the most of Haaland and him not fitting into the side. Now he's back to scoring goals every game its City being over reliant on him. At the end of the day, the team is playing to its strengths now, which is what we all wanted. Lets enjoy it and him scoring goals week in week out is something to celebrate not to pick out the negatives from.

Like the earlier post said, feels like a race between when his form drops off slightly and when the rest of the attack clicks/starts contributing. Pep is persisting with Savinho/doku which given the fact they both are god awful in the box feels like a luxury we can't afford, even if pep likes them tactically which he clearly does.

I think we need Marmoush in there off the left, or cherki/foden in there off the right. Just for the goals.
