9 | Erling Haaland - 2025/26

I don't remember him being that bad at heading when he first joined. Really needs to change his technique.

And did the Brighton prick shout in his face when he was through on goal in the first half? It's the only explanation I can think of for how poor the attempt was.

I think if we didn’t keep looking for him all the time others could score it seems they are afraid to have a go
You're allowed to think wrong thoughts. I won't stop you. ;)

(It's not like marmoush is afraid to close his eyes and bang it, same with savinho straight at the keeper, same with doku straight into the stands).

There did seem to be something that happened.

Is it his hair? Or the shape of his head, he doesn't seem to have any control in the air, other than his occasional athletic kick. low crosses seem to be the most ideal for him.

149 goals and assists in 150 games. And people think he's a problem. Not just the newbie muppet doku fanboys and all that, but some of the old cunts too. Ah well. "you just don't know football" as every other twat on this forum would say.

Genuinely think we'd never score again if we dropped him

It’s funny but the 7 games he missed, after the Bournemouth cup match, we had 10 different goalscorers.

He is not the full problem but definitely part of it as his connection with the other attacking players is non-existent and he adds zero in the way of pressing.

He's literally the only one who presses. Lol. Marmoush occasionally. Bobb never ever ever.

Slowly jogging between the keeper and the defender is not pressing.
He pushes forward, presses the keeper (as he did today and created a chance...I assume you watch the games) and waves people forward but there is no midfield push and the wingers don't do it. One man press = no press but it's not a lack of effort. Do better watching the games.

Should never have given him a guaranteed near £300m in salary on that ridiculous 10 year deal.

Ha I literally responded to your post where you said ‘ you genuinely think we would never score again if we dropped him’ yet the last time he was out for 7 matches we had ten different scorers and your saying I should do better watching games???

I am. Not sure what your point is since I used hyperbole to make a point and you came back with a very specific incorrect assessment of his play. Do better responding to posts. ;)

His role isnt to aimlessly sprint at defenders. His role is to cut off angles and force the opponents to pass it into lanes we want them to go in order to trigger the (shit) press. He does this role well.

People that just want to see a headless chicken running after centre backs needlessly expending energy like a genetically enhanced Dickov and achieving nothing extra simply dont have a good grasp of our game.
