There you go

Firsr off I think already being top 100 all time international goal scorer at his age is sick.

Like you said the rank does not matter when you consider how few matches he has played. Look at the all time great around him and how many matches they have played.

He will catch up to Sallad and Henry for example in no time. They played with better teammates or against inferior opponents.

Say what you want about Ronaldo. That many international games played is phenomenal.

Mind you, looking at how he actually plays once they're in a tournament now, he shouldnt be picked. A fair few of those caps now are simply because his ego won't let him retire and no Portugal manager would have the arsehole to drop him.

Still, over 220 international games is some going

He's done well to score them 48 goals for Ukraine as well.

Yeah you posted it earlier, it's not in English so doesn't explain what it is, and it's rather pointless as it's not ratio of goals per game, just a list.
Shirley you have heard of screen shotting and using translate.

It might be a English/British based forum but we have many international fans here so some foriegn language stuff is to be expected and modern technology does'nt stop us from reading it tbf.

Could have scored four against Brighton he needs to start converting more of his chances with us! Hopefully now he is fully up to speed and these internationals done the world of good

Yeah I agree with you nothing to be sniffed at. Now he feels like a liability at international level. Imagine if Erl played that many games.

If you want a ratio list then find one yourself.

@kingn6 thanks for posting the list, it's exceptional to think that a striker of Haaland's age is already in the top 100 strikers of all time. Especially when playing for one of the weaker European sides.

One thing a lot of young players should learn from Ronaldo is to absolutely live like an athlete with the best food, conditioning, minimal partying etc. I believe that's a big part of the reason he's barely had any injuries and no major ones.

Of course there's luck and some people are just more durable than others but if you want longevity and very few injuries, then you need to live the life..

Haaland himself said Ronaldo is someone he looks up to in that respect

Well on their way to their first World Cup since 98, that will feel special for him

Given that Turkey and Serbia lose by 5-6 goals at home, Moldova losing by 10 away from home shouldn't be that strange.

Note Italy won just 2:0 their home game vs Moldova. But there's little doubt Moldova's defence is terrible. They conceded 4 goals at home vs both Israel and Estonia.

Good training exercise for Erling, mind.

Opinions are like arseholes. Everyone has one.

Each to their own, but the simple fact remains that Harry Kane was Pep's first choice, ahead of Haaland... I wonder why?
There was no choice, Haaland was simply not available that summer, we thought Kane was and rated him the best option at the time, there was never any decision to be made between the two.

We signed Bravo and Nolito in Peps first season before bringing in Ederson and Bernardo the following year. Are we applying the same logic to that and saying Bravo and Nolito were also peps first choice?

Yes. Claudio Bravo was 1000% Pep's first choice, and Nolito was never signed as a 'stop gap' for Bernardo.

Stop making things up to suit your narrative. You'll probably be telling me that Gundo was a 'stop gap' signing for Rodri next. You're a daydreamer.

Pep was (quite rightly imo) definitely after Harry Kane before Txiki's attention turned to Haaland. In fact, I'm sure that Pep would have liked to have both in the team, using Kane in an attacking midfield role behind/alongside Haaland.

Indeed, I would fully expect that City are still monitoring the Harry Kane situation, and would probably consider going for him again if the price is right. Kane and Haaland in tandem would destroy the PL.
