Seemed to only try and barge the defender from long balls to hope he could then run onto it through on goal. Don't think he actually tried to hold up the ball for a teammate once all game.

Needed to bury that chance in the first half. Doesn't get protection from the refs either. The defenders are always allowed to be extra physical with him.

I don’t think there is any doubt Kane’s all round game is far superior to Haalands. He would have at least compacted the game in a positive way tonight. When Haaland isn’t in the game he can’t contribute anything.

Exactly. I'm not saying Kane doesn't have bad games now and again, albeit far less than Haaland. But even when he does he's always heavily involved. Erling has only one way to skin a Cat.
