Haaland's most ineffective game last night, he seemed not to be able to do one correct thing, I know he will be back to his very best starting Sunday

Not at his best last night but I thought he was fouled with impunity multiple times in his defence. Slipped back into that annoying habit from last season of always peeling off the back post instead of attacking the space in the 6 yard box.

What gets me pep never has him wide in the wing for those long balls then at least it might be a throw in or Haaland got more players around him to knock the ball too! Being central if Haaland doesn’t win the ball then they through on us with all there players still in our half puts us in a lot of trouble..

With a young baby he could well have had a number of disturbed nights? He's got a lot of body to move around. Playing 90+ minutes so regularly at this time can be demanding if the body is not fully recovered.

I hope Erling learned much about how to respond. The best striker in the land and all the world is capable of learning and pushing his game to a new level. Onwards and upwards. Not every game will be perfect. Gaps were found all around him, yet we never exploited this.

That doesn’t excuse never making a run across the 6 yard box. Was piss poor in general but his lack of even attempted movement across the box in the last 20 minutes was shocking.

He’s allowed bad games but it was more his attitude and general demeanour that seemed weirdly off last night. A combination of not looking arsed at times but then looking very arsed when he didn’t receive the ball when he was hiding behind defenders and not making himself available.

We need another proper striker on the bench. Marmoosh just doesn't have the natural instincts of a striker. There must be an experienced journeyman or young striker willing to be a bit part player for us. Would allow us to rest Haaland more as he does indeed look burnt out

Has anyone else been a little disappointed in Haaland's performance last coupe of games. Just seem to be something there that is a little lacking. Feel like a an opposition player needs to clatter him or go through him to turn him into a menace.

This is not jumping on the bandwagon but it has been an issue over the last 4-5 games. I thought the physical battle with Sunderland's back line might have woke him up but didn't appear to be the case.
