Meh... we had Sterling and sure enough Sterling did put away a nice goal and fortunately converted following a blocked penalty.

For me, the loss to Wolves had nothing at all to do with whether or not Jesus was available - it was primarily due to our being reduced to 10 men, compounded by our defensive frailties (with 11 on the field we probably could compensate for defensive errors with more goals - down to 10, we needed to score - job done - and then defend well - which we're currently unable to do on anything approaching a consistent basis).
We needed to defend from the front, and with Raheem strolling about, I just think Jesus would have done a better job us being 2 nil up.

Scored 'only' 2, could have been 4. Great game. If he gets a bit more clinical, he'll be highly prolfic. Can score 25 goals this season.

The thing with Jesus is what he lacks in clinical edge he more than makes up for with his movement, which means he'll always get a ton of chances, thus a lot of goals by rules of numbers. Like Inzaghi or Van Horseface.

Let’s hope people on here don’t use the fact that he had 4 chances and scored 2 against him, not saying he doesn’t have room for improvement mind you. His movement made those chances, and nobody is a perfect striker scoring every chance.

I agree. But he's only 22, so he might get better at finishing. He already is good enough to score 30 in all compets as a 1st choice striker. It is natural to expect that he can get better, why not the best forward in the league.

Yeah sorry I wasn't clear I was adding to your correct point. I see it it the same way you do.

Does he look like scoring?

He scored against Leicester and someone was complaining he wasn't looking like scoring.
