I seriously don't understand what most of you are not getting about a 'heavy goal' The formula is quite simple really.... If Aguero scored it, Heavy. If Gabby did, not heavy.


I'm really at a loss as to why some of you are struggling with the test :p

You are confusing 'icing' with 'heavy'. Come on Alexmcity, you should be a better student than that :p

Alright let me be fair to @B\connellblue , I think deep down he means what people deem critical goals.

And I understand what he is saying at some level. But the reality is that this isn't a real metric and no one can nor should reasonably consider it a legitimate metric.

I mean had we beaten QPR 6-1 as we were capable of and supposed to and Aguero scored goals 4 and 5. He would have failed to score a heavy goal in that match.

Yet that match, a monumental fuckup that we then saved in the last moment now gets to be viewed as a goal that one should treat like 3 goals. Just doesn't seem fair to those who do their jobs correctly from the beginning and made sure no such shenanigans were necessary.

But I get it at some level. Just don't buy it :)

This whole line of questioning is very silly, but I think you might want to rewatch the celebration of that goal before deciding it didn't mean all that much.
