Possibly the best pressing forward at the moment. Has his naysayers but he’s dogged and also a grafter. Even when he doesn’t have a great game he keeps running.

Happy for him and I’m glad he was the one to put the tie to bed.

Also impressive speed - he wasn't necessarily favourite to get a clean chip when Varane made contact. We have to stop expecting him to be an Aguero clone, cos nobody in the world is. But he is our Gabby and the next few years, I am convinced he will be setting his own standard that future City strikers will try to emulate

Said it many times before; Jesus's game isn't all about putting the ball in the net. It's a team game. His movement off the ball creates space and the team benefits. He's also great at chasing back and nicking the ball; a real pest for the opposition.

I had to look it up after someone told me as I never noticed it, but he won a lot of aerial battles last night.

The one that stands out for me is the dual he won effectively at LB!

I don't agree with the article. But I understand bthe sentiment. Personally, I think he is underrated on talent alone.

I think like Sterling, as he gets older his goal scoring has and will improve further.

Its a stupid article and the way that the writer fails to mention the fact he dominated the copa America final with 2 moments if technical brilliance and instead just says he worked hard shows how much he had to omit to make the theory work.

In the 7 games he's played since Southampton he's scored 5 and has 3 assists.

He was missing an Opta 'big chance' every 70 minutes before lockdown, that is out to 120 minutes since the restart (level with Aguero's rate this season).

It seems the more rhythm he has the better he gets, confidence player, similar to Sterling.

Jesus is most definitely a confidence player. I'm not a doctor but it wouldn't surprise me if he has anxiety. String of games allowing him to relax a little bit, Jesus shines.

Yeah, I also think Jesus' talent is underrated. He is capable of sublime tricks. We don't see often that side of his game since he still feels the burden of the comparison with Kun and tries to avoid mistakes. Once he establishes himself, he will freely express his great skills on the ball.
