he is a fighter and thats about it at the moment....he has had chances before when Kun has been injured and failed to establish himself and again at present he is nowhere near close to this

If the striker is not getting service then they have to go get it themselves,he can't do a kane and wait for it to arrive,sergio does create goals out of nothing,impossible angles ,he has been doing it for 8yrs,this kid cannot lead the line,offside again today and in the cl,the chance he had needed chipping or across the goal,i don't know why anyone thinks he is the answer or why we wouldn't miss sergio,this kid is more of a winger than a striker in our team

If that is the case then it’s remarkably bad planning. Same with Stones and Otamendi. It was clear last season that Pep didn’t trust either of them yet here we are one injury at the back and one up top, playing two players deemed not good enough and a 34 year
Old defensive midfielder at the back to compensate for the other one who he still won’t play because he is shite

He signed new deal in Aug 2018, then in around Feb/March 2019, we started looking at Jovic. Even the Frankfurt manager admitted we were interested in him (along with Barca and Real) and in that case Jesus would have gone for sure to make room. (striker for striker)

Next time we're 3 up he'll probably bag a hat trick. Scares no one does gabby. Not what we need at all. I'd be more inclined to play Sterling as the striker and get an extra attacking midfielder on e.g. Foden. Bench Gundog and get Fern where he belongs.

hes not shit just not suited to being the focal point of an account hes either a wide striker or hes a good foil for sane and sterling when we play the three together where he doesnt need to lead the attack
