If you think jesus cost us the game today you should probably find a new sport to watch.

We created fuck all for him, there was zero intensity in our game which allowed them to stick 10 men behind the ball and force us to play around the centre circle for the majority of the game.

there was a few times we had chances to counter their counter, he made good runs and the midfield slowed down the ball turned around and passed it back to one of the back 4 allowing their entire team to get back in, with build up like that and a refusal to put crosses in how exactly is he supposed to get involved and make an impact? Stick any striker you want to name upfront today and you'd have got nothing from them either.
Cost us the game with the penalty. Idiotic challenge to make in your own box.

He doesnt scare any team , they see his name and go thank fuck it is not aguero, imo
Not a single defender has thought that for about two years.

Defenders hate playing against the likes of Jesus as he pulls them all over the pitch. As he has done in plenty of the wins in the previous 21 before today.

said the same thing for 3 seasons now....defences do not fear him at all

agree Kaz but unfortunately as Ive said before, Kun is being managed out of this team.....him not getting game time and especially today at 1-0 down or even 2 -0 down says it all....

We may see Kun play soem part in the rest of the season but I expect that IF he stays next season then he will be a bit part player...and thats IF he stays.....

Dont get me wrong, I would have had him back on the pitch weeks ago getting minutes at least in the build up to this game and I still believe he is our best option BUT Pep doesnt think this despite what he says in the press...Pep is using this injury/recovery time to build his team for the future and see what works with different players and what doesnt...he already knows that Kun cannt do what he wants him to do (press like crazy from the front) any more.
Yep...

Remember that feeling when he came on against I think spurs after we signed him. The furore was huge and he was a breath of fresh air.

That unfortunately year on year that fire has been put out. It is a shame as I had high hopes for him but it isnt looking like it is going to happen for him to become a prolific CF

You expect a player, especially a CF who has been here now a number of years to be on the same wave length as the others, and at the very least strike up an understanding with another player, where they know each others game inside out.

Said on the sterling thread, I hope for Torres kick on after settling, and dislodge him for that wide berth. Torres has ability to beat a man and can score

Gef a bonafide CF in the summer, hopefully Haaland, and maybe one or 2 others and this Pep mk2 team will be seen

It was an idiotic challenge, no argument there from me, but it happened after 30 seconds, we had 94 minutes to rectify it, instead we went further behind so no it did not cost us the game at all.

I just can’t make my mind up about him. He is no Sergio and never will be but that’s such an impossible act to follow.

Except it did. Completely different game when you concede an early goal. Ruined our game plan and we had to adjust.

United created very little. Had it not been for Jesus’ fuck up, it would’ve been 0-0 at worst. Their second goal came from a counter because we overcommitted. Why? Because Jesus fucked up and we went a goal down to the penalty merchants so we had to chase the game.

He cost us the game.

I know most City fans despise the fella, and take every opportunity to point out how bad he is, but I'm grateful the club are more level headed and understand the value he brings to the team as we push for success on multiple fronts this season.

I too like Gabriel but he's got to become more of a goal threat
