He’s never been the top man up front since he got here. It has always felt like he is playing second fiddle to someone. As much as I want Haaland here, part of me really wants to see what Jesus can do going into a season knowing he is the main man. I am certain he would get 20+ goals and a lot of opinions would change on here.
Agreed. When you see those pizza charts that show all round contribution they show just how good a player he is. So many strikers are so one dimensional - Jesus manages to keep up a great per minute strike rate, but adds so much more to the team play.I maintain that Jesus is better than all the potential signings beyond Haaland and Mbappe.

We are still comfortably the best side in the league, with or without Haaland.Nah, I want Haaland as well as Jesus. Having the option of two completely different strikers give us an advantage over any other club in Europe. Imagine have the best defensive striker and the best goal scorer in Europe.

If Haaland comes in then he will be a real 9 for us, but I don't think its absolutely necessary. Nice to have that option though.
