A player who is having a poor season. That is all. It happens to even the best of them.
It doesn't help, when we regularly play without a striker, or just with Gabi, effectively as a 10, then suddenly today we play our star striker alongside him.

I've no idea what his job was today, when he's alone I know he's there to hold the ball up, and to bring others into it, which he does, today he was in Sergio's way, and he was in Raheem's way, and in the first half none of them played well.

Lack of Team Chemistry. Give it a couple of games it would really improve.

This just looks weird to me.

He's offside, but Dann's foot is over that blue line, and Kouyaté looks even further over it.
VAR is so arbitraty.
I bet they'd make it look onside, if the linesman hadn't flagged: make the screencap a bit earlier and make the red line start closer to Jesus shoulder and the result is different.

I think if he moves he will probably score a lot. There is a player there. But for his sake a move might be necessary just to set him up as the lead striker and maybe play with an option of counter attacking or going off the last man. I really, truly like him and I’d be happy for him to stay as a rotational option but he’d be well within his rights to seek out a move to put him back on that lead striker track

I believe we don’t actually get to see VAR’s videos and lines. The ones we see are done by the tele broadcasters.

Jesus is a gifted player - but he has no business starting as our first choice striker in important matches.

Should we try to convert Jesus into a midfield player - I don't think for a moment that he cracks our starting lineup.

Jesus - at present - is a gifted backup. If we can negotiate wages along these lines - and if Jesus is happy with this - then I'd love for him to continue in our side.

Realistically though - City management have reached the exact same conclusion I've stated above - and Jesus won't be happy with this assessment.

Look for Jesus to move within the next window or so.
