He’s a winger all day. He has that unusual dribbling style which makes it hard to defend against. Given he’s been a striker, he has that goal scoring instinct too but not enough of one to be the main guy up front.

Put him on the wing when he’s not relied upon as much to get the goals and we’d all be a lot happier with him IMO.
I'd happily have him rotating with mahrez on the right and torres taking his CF duties. Just let raz go and bring in a better option on the left and we are gravy.

Problem with him is that whilst he did look better out wide in the second half, he is not better than those we already have in those positions so unless he gets his shooting boots sorted, he is going to be spending an awful lot of time on then bench next season.

Jesus is the type of player you miss once he's gone

I really like Gabby, he gives his all and while I think it's fair to say he never lived up to those expectations when he first burst onto the scene...I think he's been a great servant

But he's not going to spearhead the attack of a team who compete at the level we do

Don't think the current style suits him, he always excelled when coupled with Sterling, Sane where all three could use their pace and movement whereas we now like to control the ball and build up slowly to control counters better

Think he's a top quality operator, would probably play in the first XI for pretty all teams in Europe other than the truely elite (Bayern, PSG etc.) but he's not in that world class bracket

Good character to have around the team and doesnt seem to complain

Purely speculatory, but think the club would expect around the £50/60mil mark for him, and personally can't see anyone making that kind of offer

Think Pep is a big fan and likes his unselfishness and ability to play across the frontline (I also think he's better off the wing)

Good thing with Gabby on the wing is a much lower chance to be offside time and again. Like Timo Werner he STILL didn't learn to stay onside, at his age. So frustrating.

His mad workrate though, his pressing and his pace are nice to have.

It’s a shame as he seems a nice lad and has very good skill and unbelievably good movement that defenders struggle with, but he just doesn’t seem to have that true striker’s lethal instinct.

I certainly think he’s a great squad player and decent back-up if we can get a proper finisher like Haaland or Kane though, I wouldn’t want us to sell him.
