His finishing gets a lot of stick but some people forget that Sergio misses a shit load of easy chances. But because it’s Sergio, he gets let off.
 
I’m baffled by criticism of Jesus. OK, he’s not Sergio, but then no-one is (except Sergio), and he has clearly worked hard on his finishing and striking the ball cleanly and early, instead of continually taking an extra touch - which was his biggest weakness - and what he may still lack in that capacity, he makes up for in plenty of others anyway. He’s quick, he presses relentlessly, he’s a strong little bugger, he’s got plenty of skill and he’s a likeable chap who seems happy playing for us. With the possible exception of Song at Spurs, I wouldn’t swap him for any ‘second’ striker in the league
 
He did a press conference with Brazil before tonight's match and saw it reported on a Brazilian site he's said he's making goalscoring a bigger part of his game now, but I can't find any English sources reporting it.

I don't know if we've got any Brazilian users but maybe they'll have seen the story?

He won't leave because he is already first-choice. Has been since he started in Madrid and Kun on the bench. Some are just rather slow at updating their beliefs and still live in the past. Kun hasn't had a good game against a quality opposition for many many months now, probably since 18/19. Jesus was one of our outstanding performers against Real and Liverpool. He makes the team stronger.

He adds a real attacking flair that's been absent this season, really hope he can inspire the team up top.
