If you are playing for a top club playing moreso under Guardiola you HAVE TO WORK HARD.

It's not something you can run away without doing. Ffs it's basic requirement people are sounding like only Jesus works hard and other don't. Or WORKING HARD is exclusive Jesus trait

Yes I’m obsessed how people can defend a piss average striker and think he is the saviour!! He isn’t . And what is it with people like you looking through members past posts ? It’s my opinion . He’s very average and overrated .
It was brought to our attention. And "people like me"? Care to expand on that?

Jesus has got the heart of a lion and works very hard, but the lad simply lacks presence on the pitch and is far too predictable. Defenders aren't intimidated by him and he rarely (if ever) puts them on the back foot.
Having looked the real deal when we signed him, I think it reasonable for fans to have expected him to really 'kick on' since, and become a better striker. Unfortunately, in my opinion, he seems to have regressed as a striker over the last few seasons.

Sums it up. Who are the best strikers of the last decade? Other than Agüero, it's players like Kane, Lukaku, Ibrahimovic, Suarez, Lewandowski, Cavani, Benzema. Haaland is coming through now. What do they have in common? Physical presence. I'm not saying they're all massive but they use their bodies well. Jesus is the opposite of that, which he could get away with if he was Agüero, but he's not- almost nobody is.

1st half I couldn't believe how often he slipped on the pitch. Not the best preparation if you can't even rely on your boots.

His game with his back to the goal was poor, sloppy.

After several years why did he still not learn playing onside? Incredible.

Poor confidence at the moment like Raz. Both could have played til midnight
without scoring.

Another point similar to Raz:
if he leads a counter on the ball he rarely finds the best pass and it collapses.
Having Kev, Gundo or Mahrez leading a counter it's red alert for the other team.
