Well it really is as simple as this ....... if we really want a Champions league place then nine points from Sunderland , Stoke and Wolves shouldn't be beyond us .... no matter which side we put out , and especially as two of those games are at home ........ it HAS to happen!
But we lack real penetration at times , and often the 'urgency' required to put sides like that to 'bed' ......... Wolves , unlike in their game against the rags , WILL field their strongest side against us .... and Stoke and Sunderland are probably capable of grabbing draws here , especially as neither appears likely !
So , as usual , with it being City , we go into these important games with a high degree of doubt as to whether or not we'll actually come through them with any degree of success ...... whereas no doubt the likes of Spurs , after their win over us , will grab three points in their very next match!
