i'm nervous about these 3 games, should be 9 points, you just cant call it, lets see what hughes does now to get the belief back, critical now for rest of the season.

This ^^^

I really think a win this saturday will do the team confidence a world of good knowing we have 2 home games on the trot then wolves away, if we win saturday then this sets us up nice for a tricky and physical game against stoke.

The wins against the Arse and Chelski should have given the team confidence...but hey..what happened ?? a 3-3 draw with Notlob and a loss to Spuds... wtf does the team have to do to get confidence.??

Well it really is as simple as this ....... if we really want a Champions league place then nine points from Sunderland , Stoke and Wolves shouldn't be beyond us .... no matter which side we put out , and especially as two of those games are at home ........ it HAS to happen!

But we lack real penetration at times , and often the 'urgency' required to put sides like that to 'bed' ......... Wolves , unlike in their game against the rags , WILL field their strongest side against us .... and Stoke and Sunderland are probably capable of grabbing draws here , especially as neither appears likely !

So , as usual , with it being City , we go into these important games with a high degree of doubt as to whether or not we'll actually come through them with any degree of success ...... whereas no doubt the likes of Spurs , after their win over us , will grab three points in their very next match!

and all will look better.

might not save him mind.

come on city.

Agreed. Yesterday I'd have said that 9 points would be enough to save him - but the flurry of articles in the press in this morning makes me think there are things going on behind the scenes, and maybe his card has already been marked...

Reminds me of last season!

We play shit away pressure is on then we have a good home display!

Then we play shit away again!!

We might win or draw or even lose who knows with City!!

One thing is sure Im not looking forward to the FA Cup tie against Middlesborough away!!!

Not only that, but Hughes was in a precarious position going into Xmas/New Year last year...just like this year.

The reason Hughes teams 'do better in the 2nd half of the season' is because they are f*cking useless in the 1st half...

Sunderland: 2-2

Stoke: 1-1

Wolves: 3-0 win

5 out of 9.
