9 seasons on the bounce...

The GPC's comment is a reminder - nothing is forever.
I hope as a fanbase we never become as entitled as the Rags and red Dippers, who seem to think they have a divine right to be top teams.
Tell that to Preston, Everton, Aston Villa, etc. All top teams in their day.

They are utterly WANK.
Been in transition for 10 years, it's laughable.
Half their squad will need to be fucked off and cost 500 million to replace which will take at least 3 years. They will be equally as shit if not worse in that time and this is only if the management's balls are big enough to do it and Malcolm and his yank directors will fund it.
It's likely the great unwashed will not remain patient during this time, while us and the vermin hoover up all the trophies.
If they don't commit to that course the same mediocrity from the previous 9 years will continue. Manager buys players to suit his style. Finishes out of top 4, gets sacked. Rinse and repeat every 18 months.
In that time Old Toilet is and will continue falling down and will become even more shit as a venue.

If Carling did futures.......

Indeed.

By 1936, Sunderland, Newcastle, and Sheffield Wednesday had won 14 league titles between them.
Since 1936, Sunderland, Newcastle, and Sheffield Wednesday have won 0 league titles between them.

They, along with the teams you mentioned (and Blackburn), were all the top dogs in the first half of football history.

Nothing lasts forever, things change, time moves on.

In another 15 years I can see City and Chelsea’s era being over and Newcastle and someone like West Ham being the next top dogs.

Chelsea's era is already over

I personally think if Sunderland/Newcastle/Sheff had the modern media support that utd/lfc do they would still be top dogs.

Very true but none of those clubs had Mansour or Khaldoon at the helm. Hope our time in the sun is long and successful. It’s been a blast since the takeover.

Newcastle’s turn next.
