I would take Snijeder (spelling) if we could not get Yaya Toure ....

Oh man, there are some class players here on that list!

I would go for them in this order of most valuable!

Mahmmadou Diarra - Class Defensive holding midfielder chose Madrid over Man United some years ago still class under 30 had a season on the side lines due to injury.

He and Dejong to fight for DM position. Kompany to fall back in to defense as CB.

Then I would go for Rafael Vander vaat, class class player and young.
