90's Dance & Old Skool Classics

I know it’s not 90s either but …

Since the Sunday night at the end of 1989 it was first broadcast this has been in my top 3 mixes of all time. @Nightmare Walking you’ll know better than me, but I’m sure this is pre-recorded, and carefully edited to sound as good and smooth as this with so many tunes included, but to me it’s a work of art. Not just the transitions but the actual track selection, this is a proper representation of house music in 1989.

From the first second to the final echoes of Pacific State it’s an absolute joy.

He’ll never be forgotten, not by me anyway. RIP.

It was a lot harder to to pre record back in the day, as they did not have the the luxury of dj software.
It's probably done on a 4-track, but there is still a lot of effort gone into it.

Stus mixes were always on point. Nothing fancy about his mixing, but always beat perfect. His mixes were smooth and effortless.

Rock with taste.
What a class tune this was.

First heard it on a Tuesday night 808 State Spinmasters show on Sunset Radio. They were probably counting down some chart from Eastern Bloc. I’ve most likely got the tape somewhere, if it’s not worn out.

Very noisy, only for the headstrong etc but a class production, teeming with creativity, inc samples from The Doors and The Beatles (which I don’t know how they got away with).
Just close your eyes …
