No mate. I know they’re French (Daft Punk), but that’s pure second wave Chicago house right thereThat's absolutely terrible. Have you posted that for a laugh?
It sounds something like Larry Levan would play in Paradise Garage. No mate. I know they’re French (Daft Punk), but that’s pure second wave Chicago house right there
Some new (old) vinyl I bought today
I don’t mind a bit of Levan’s disco mixesIt sounds something like Larry Levan would play in Paradise Garage.
Personally I reckon the British interpretation on the initial stuff that came out of Chicago and Detroit is far better than what the yanks served up initially
I had never heard it before. I was listening to some Garnier stuff on Deezer while in the shower and how to jump out to see what it was. There is a remix on there with a break rather than 4 on the floor, which is ace as well.Really like that Garnier track
I had a bit of spell of listening to quite a few when he died. He could not mix for toffee, but he played some fantastic records.I don’t mind a bit of Levan’s disco mixes

Sneak, Cajmere, Roy Davis Jnr etc.
