93:20 Or 3 Goals In 5 Minutes - Which Did You Enjoy The Most?

93.20 as I'd actually abandoned all hope.

Yesterday I still retained a very slight hope and belief. So while it was still a fantastic comeback, we weren't as hopeless as it felt in 2012.

93-20 but yesterday was not far behind slightly tempered for me as I wasn’t fully celebrating as I was expecting VAR to rule one of the goals out ..

Yesterday was a fantastic comeback but ultimately one of many dramatic comebacks made by big teams in important games.
It wasn't even as good as Madrids comeback against us in the semi final. We were practically through with only a few minutes remaining and they bring on a sub who scores twice in extra time

For me it's apples and oranges;

93:20 was one of the most dramatic and iconic wins in the history of football; not only that but it both metaphorically and literally announced our arrival at the top, against all the odds and despite their (and typical city's own) best efforts we did it. Not only that but it snatched the title away against a complete set of cunts who at the time were actually celebrating another title win it was, with no exaggeration, one of the best things that could ever have happened.

22/5 - maybe at this stage it was just another title win, something we're used to around these parts now. BUT 3 goals in 5 minutes, at crunch time, for a team who haven't come back from a 2-0 down position in a very long time, shows an astounding depth of character, resilience & desire to prove themselves. And then to hold that lead till the end; fantastic stuff. On top of that though we've spent the entire YEAR watching liverpool basically pushed into winning "everthing before them". We've sat through hours and hours of being told how great this liverpool team is, how it's their natural position to win. We've watch the fans once against disgrace themselves, the players cheat constantly (despite all their natural talent), and klopp given free reign to say what he wants, encite what he wants and get away with it. They have the best players, the best manager, the best fans, the best football, the best tactics and you know what? It still wasn't enough. We tripped up along the way, lost games we shouldn't, lose key players to injuries for a long time, dodgy tactics, our manager and most of our top players "wanted out" and we STILL beat them. This win was a reminder that for all the bluster, all the media nonsense, they're not even as good as us when we fuck it up.
That's why I love this one so much and maybe that's shallow or bitter or whatever but I don't care, I've been made that way by the parasites in the media and the footballing word. They can take their cup success and tell us they're the best in Europe but the fact remains they are only the second best team in England and they know it.

To me both league wins are unforgettable and all I can do is be thankful for the club we have!
