Just started listening now and already fascinated hearing Chelsea created 59 clear chances all season compared to our 89.

Many willl point to our defence being the main issue, in particularly journalists, but Pep is completely correct in saying we didn't score enough goals this season.

Chelsea only conceded 6 less than us, however the batterings against the likes of Leicester and Everton away convinced the pundits, media and some fans that the defence was the real concern.

Not that our defence isn't a concern of course, but had we put away the clear cut chances, the defence wouldn't be the main talking point.

At the end of the day we play an incredibly attacking style of play, it's obvious we will concede more goals than others.

At the end of the day we play an incredibly attacking style of play, it's obvious we will concede more goals than others.

That, and the fact that when other teams created chances against us, they very clinical to an extent that you wouldn't normally expect. We had teams scoring on us from 50% or higher of their shots on target. Not pointing that out to say it's all about the keeper, but that is a number that is much higher than the average (both to do with the keeper as well as the striker simply making it a great effort).
