there was something on the website last night saying it was going ahead. Surprisingly somebody seems to have removed it this morning! Nothing is ever easy being a City fan is it?

Well, luckily for me, being a Milton Keynes based City fan, I've not got TOO far to travel, but was still planning on leaving at 11. Fuck it being called off for those who've set off from north of Manchester, they probably left quite awhile ago!

just visited Fratton ground..(I live in Portsmouth now) they're removing the blowers (bloody tons of them!!) and ref is inspecting as I write. Official statement to be made in 30 minutes. Could go either way..

I would recommend not setting off until anouncement is made

Taken from mancityfans.

Just had a text back.

Too close to call, pitch frozen at an inch, but half an inch in the middle of the pitch which is causing the most concern - dangerous to play if it is frozen at an inch depth apparently. Both clubs want to give it as long as possible but the officials are considering the fans

Good to know that the fans are a consideration.

Its ok. Under Mark we will be hoofing the ball over the central area so we shouldnt be concerned.

Gotta say I'm grateful its not a home match.. It's bad enough when we play bad, but if it was 0°C.. ouch.

Today has got to be one of the coldest matches to attend in a long time.
