A Bit of Positive Thinking...

Won £50 on the official supporters club draw tonight, well £30 spent £20 on tickets, still better than nowt

You have to go through these tough spells to enjoy the good times, just think of all the good memories in the lasy 5 years. We will be there again, dont worry, Pep WILL find a way. Need to keep getting behind the team despite the bad results, January window nearly here and we will be fine.

Just read some article on the BBC website that suggests things are going from bad to worse at City. Typical wishful thinking from the cunts at Salford. Truth to tell , things are going on an even course - bad, 'n staying bad, Nothing worse than bad yet!

It occurred to me earlier today that although the recent sequence of results has been very disappointing for everyone, it may yet become a positive moment...

For some time now I've felt that we were becoming quite predictable and easy to play against. A lot of times we got away with due to the sheer quality of the players but there were signs even in the run in last season that the gap was closing.

This of course culminated in us losing the FA Cup Final to the tossers down the road.
The ONLY reason we lost the FACup is because we played shit on the day, allegedly because we were still pissed. I refute any suggestion the Rags worked out how to beat us.

Every average team has the blueprint to beat us. It starts by knowing that if they have a shot on target then it has a good chance of going in and then (until recently) it was just a case of staying in the game and keeping enough energy in the team for the last 10 minutes to “have a go”.

I warned at the time that Ten Hag had been resting his key players for the final (because Euro qualification was unlikely any other way, at best Conference via league position) so yes, they did work out how to beat us. Maybe not so much tactically but definitely strategically.

Their tactics were spot on. Low block, fast break.

Just like every other fucker then, watched a bit of the dippers game last night until shit Andy Carrol scored, Southampton were playing out from the back, lots of teams have tried Pep ball but you need the players to do it, which they don’t, unfortunately neither do we at the moment, you can see how it comes unstuck when you don’t as we are now.
