(A)Borussia Mönchengladbach

Yep:) asked for a song with no swearing. There was a German chef on that Xmas market (like their Jamie Oliver) and he was being tormented

Ha ha, can't believe they aired that after asking us to sing a song with no swearing - was expecting it to get bleeped out!

Was a quality trip that mate. Not as mad as some of the other European aways I've done, partly because I had such an early start on the day of the game and had to pace myself to an extent. Was too goosed to go back out in the Altstadt after getting back to my hotel in Dusseldorf later on but we made up for it with those few beers and that monster scran yesterday.

I will add that Monchengladbach wasn't as much of a ghost town in terms of bars, etc, as others had made out. That Xmas market was quality and one of the nicest I've been to, plus there were a fair few watering holes round there too. The Gladbach supporters bar was superb and we were made to feel totally welcome.

European aways in Germany knock everywhere else into a cocked hat for me

Totally agree, was surprised how ace that Gladbach bar was. Cracking photo of us with their flag as well. Reckon everyone is suffering a bit today, that scran was a Grade A beast.

That was very funny. The younger lads I met later thought it was a bit tight but thats the PC world we live in I suppose.
Tried to find a video of the lad who picked her up singing the song but couldnt find it,know its out there as some German fans were watching it on the train. It was all done in the best possible taste!

Wonder which lucky blue took that lady home.

Went by car from Manchester late Tuesday night, got the 6-00 ferry from Dover to Dunkirk, up through France, Belgium and Netherlands to Dusseldorf. Got to the hotel about two and went for a half or three. Quick mooch round the old town for a Bratwurst so missed the incident with the dwarf but got told about it as soon as we returned to the bars.
Train ride to M-G was brilliant with around 30-40 verses of the posh slapper song.
Train back was absolutely minging, as was the M25 yesterday afternoon.
The match was utter shite unless your match day experience involves a television in which case it was "job done" or "a work in progress". That also applies to Palace but I couldn't be arsed commenting on it last weekend.
At least we got a rare goal from David and his finish was excellent for his disallowed one. Ref was mostly confused, possibly related to Stuart Atwell.

Some of you may know I had a real teddy out the pram spat with Squirty Flower over the way City allocate tickets. this is just to say we ended up in the same pub in Gladbach, had a good natter and decided in the friendliest of ways that we were both right !! The point of my post, perhaps we all get a little heated at times on here and I was stupid enough to let a disagreement spoil my use of this site. Perhaps it's a lesson to most if not all of us. I know in the future before I press send I will have a little think.

Squirty, see you in Portugal/Spain/Germany/ or wherever it is we play the knock out bit and i will buy you a pint.
Hope to see you wherever it is
Me and Mrs sf will be there as long as it isn't Turkey or Napoli
